Summer Bandshell Concert 2016

As part of the Town of Bel Air Summer Concert Series, the Bel Air Community Chorus performed an outdoor concert in Shamrock Park.  The chorus performed selections from their Spring Concert, “I Dream a World: Anthems of Social Justice.”

Several soloists were featured including:  Tenor, David Frankenberger in “Tshotsholoza” and “Make Them Hear You,” Tenors, Brian Grover, Ted McCadden and Chris Depkin in “Do You Hear the People Sing,” and Amanda Krisher in “Where Have All the Flowers Gone.”  This concert also featured two songs performed by the Chamber Choir, “Bread & Roses” and “Let There Be Peace.”  Performing solos in Chamber Choir were Sopranos Addie Blevins and Christina Rodriguez in “Let There Be Peace.”

The concert was directed by Artistic Director, Jay Althouse and accompanied by Sandra Files.
